Joshua Morrison
Joshua Morrison has extensive experience in civil rights, criminal defense, and commercial litigation in both federal and state courts. He has spent a significant portion of his career focused on defending the constitutional rights of his clients, in cases involving police misconduct, wrongful death, and criminal defense. Mr. Morrison has successfully prosecuted cases for his clients against municipalities, police departments, school districts, and private security companies and defended his clients in criminal matters ranging from simple traffic violations to serious aggravated felony charges. He has expertise in all phases of civil and criminal discovery, including litigation strategy, depositions, negotiations, and trials. Mr. Morrison has a proven track record in achieving successful outcomes in both federal and state courts.
Mr. Morrison has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago (cum laude). He has a Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School (cum laude), where he also served on the Law Review.
A third-generation attorney, Mr. Morrison commenced his legal career in Chicago as a civil rights and criminal defense litigator. Mr. Morrison later moved to New York City with his wife. Mr. Morrison resides in Manhattan.
